What You Need:
1-2/3 yards of 60-inch-wide wool fabric
String, pushpin, water-erasable marker
6 yards of 1-inch-wide red grosgrain ribbon
6 yards of 5/8-inch-wide olive-green grosgrain ribbon
Invisible thread
Thread to match ribbons
8 (7/8-inch-diameter) pewter shank buttons

Modern Christmas Tree Skirt for the Holidays

What You Need:
54-inch-wide felted wool fabric: 1-1/2 yards cream, 1 yard grass green, 1/4 yard each of dark green and chartreuse, and 1/8 yard each of red, pink, and bright pink (We used fat quarters of Weeks Dye Works’ hand-dyed felted wool: Snow Cream, Meadow, Juniper, Chartreuse, Candy Apple, Peony, and Bubble Gum.)
Disappearing fabric-marking pen or pencil
1 yard of string
Three 3/4×1-1/4-inch pieces of hook-and-loop fastener
Matching sewing threads
Silver tinsel, nonwired
Fabric adhesive

Make a Fun Christmas Tree Garland from Foam Snowballs

What You Need:
White yarn
Extra-long upholstery needle
1-1/2-, 2-, 2-1/2-, and 3-inch-diameter foam balls (plan on three to five balls for each foot of garland)
Large cardboard box
Flat white spray paint
Mica flakes
